PROJECT UPDATE – ExxonMobil, Guyana
Working closely with our local partners, this new office campus development for ExxonMobil is starting to take shape. Located on a 15-acre green field site on the outskirts of Guyana’s capital, Georgetown, this facility will be ExxonMobil’s in-country headquarters.
The primary function of the development is to support its offshore oil exploration business. The project has a total floor area of 120,000 sq ft, and when completed will have a net-zero energy footprint. Construction and MEP work is progressing well and is on track to complete in 2024.

SANTANDER TRITON SQUARE – London
This month marked the completion of the final office floor at Triton Square – Level 1. We have now successfully completed the refurbishment of Levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 together with the plant replacement programme, handing over each phase on time and to the satisfaction of our eminent client.
We are delighted to announce that the project has now been extended to complete the refurbishment of the Ground Floor which includes the highly technical relocation of the buildings’ critical high tech Security Room. The unique challenge being the changeover of each system whilst maintaining the buildings functionality.
During this move the primary life safety, IT and security systems will be upgraded to the latest technology. In addition to the relocation of the security room, the next phase will provide new facilities for Santander’s employees such as Contemplation and First aid rooms, Yoga and Fitness studio, new Shower facilities, new toilet and locker room facilities, meeting rooms, new Café, a presentation space and multiple collaboration spaces with movable furniture to enable larger presentation spaces as required.
This is one of two projects Update Group is currently delivering for Santander in the UK, with the other being an 800,000 sq ft landmark office development in Milton Keynes.

NEW PROJECTS – Ireland
Update Group is further strengthening its projects portfolio in the hospitality sector by winning two high-profile hotel contracts in Ireland.
The first is a major extension to the Hilton Charlemont in Dublin. Consisting of 112 rooms in a new seven-story block located at Charlemont Place, the site overlooks the Grand Canal in Dublin’s city centre. This is the second project for Hilton in Dublin that we have been awarded, with the first being Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre, completed in 2022.
The other project is in the southern city of Cork, where Moxy Hotels has appointed Update Group to deliver the building services for their second hotel in Ireland. The Moxy Hotel and Residence Inn by Marriott is a 3-star hotel located on Camden Quay at the former McKenzies Circuit Courthouse. The protected building is part of a €32 million development that will include 153 hotel rooms and 41 long-stay suites.
