The Ritz-Carlton Reserve Eleuthera is an ultra-luxury hospitality and residential development located on a 100-acre site in Eleuthera, The Bahamas, and represents the ninth Ritz-Carlton Reserve worldwide.

The project marks Update Group’s first appointment in The Bahamas, expanding the Group’s Caribbean footprint and reinforcing its experience in delivering complex MEP solutions for high-end hospitality environments.

Construction commenced in September 2025, with completion targeted for 2028. Sustainability is a central pillar of the development, supported by a large-scale off-property renewable energy installation designed to significantly reduce operational carbon demand.

Update Group has been appointed to deliver the full Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection services across the resort, branded residences and supporting amenities, requiring careful coordination across a large, low-density site with multiple building typologies.

The scope includes integrated building services for guest accommodation, residences, signature dining venues and a spa and wellness sanctuary, with a strong focus on resilience, energy performance and long-term operational efficiency.

Early engagement has enabled coordinated planning of infrastructure, utilities and sustainability systems, supporting programme certainty and ensuring that engineering solutions align with the brand standards and performance expectations of an ultra-luxury resort.
