Delivery of full MEP services for a large-scale luxury resort at Christophe Harbour, St. Kitts and Nevis.

Overview

The Park Hyatt Resort St. Kitts and Nevis is a luxury hospitality development located on the southern tip of the island at Christophe Harbour, developed by Range Developments.

The resort comprises a mix of guestrooms and suites supported by extensive arrival, wellness, hospitality and back-of-house facilities, positioned within a high-end marina and resort destination.

The development spans approximately 300,000 sq ft and required robust, resilient building services infrastructure to support five-star hotel operations in a remote island environment.

Our Scope

Update Group was appointed to deliver the full Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services for the resort, covering guest accommodation, public areas and all supporting operational facilities.

A key challenge was the delivery of a resilient, site-wide electrical infrastructure capable of supporting uninterrupted hotel operations, achieved through the installation of a two-megawatt medium-voltage network with N+1 standby power generation.

Our scope also included the complete mechanical HVAC systems for all guest rooms, alongside public area lighting and integrated building services, ensuring guest comfort, operational reliability and compliance with luxury brand standards.
