Holiday Inn Dublin Airport is a four-star hotel comprising 421 guest rooms, developed to serve both business and leisure travellers using Dublin Airport as a key transport hub.

The project forms part of Update Group’s ongoing relationship with JMK Group and follows the successful delivery of several hospitality developments together, including Hampton by Hilton Dublin City Centre, Hampton by Hilton London Ealing and Moxy Hotel Cork City.

The scale of the hotel and its proximity to airport infrastructure required a resilient, well-coordinated building services solution to support high occupancy levels and continuous operations.

Update Group was appointed to deliver the full Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection services on a design and build basis, taking responsibility for the coordinated delivery of all building services systems.

The scope required close integration of life safety, mechanical and electrical systems within a large-format hotel environment, ensuring compliance, operational resilience and alignment with brand standards.

Our design and build approach enabled early coordination, efficient sequencing and cost control, supporting a smooth delivery programme and a fully integrated MEPF solution.
